Marc Oka

MARC OKA was the assistant to Robert Avian, choreographer for Miss Saigon on Broadway. He also assisted Mr. Avian with the world premier of John Kander and Fred Ebb's Over and Over at the Signature Theatre in Arlington, Virginia. Mr. Oka has performed on Broadway in Bells Are Ringing starring Faith Prince, Fosse, Miss Saigon, Shogun: The Musical, and Anything Goes starring Patti LuPone. Other theatrical credits include Where's Charlie at the Williamstown Theater Festival, The Pajama Game at City Center's Encore Series, the world premier engagement of Tim Rice and Elton John's Elaborate Lives: The Legend of Aida, New York Theater Workshop's production of The Wild Party, and Off-Broadway in Chu Chem at the Jewish Repertory Theater. Marc has toured the United States with Cats, Anything Goes, and Miss Saigon. He will be Assistant Choreographer for the upcoming revival of Flower Drum Song.
